“ Wow! Passing through the city, and I always look for little neighborhood coffee shops. Amazing! I almost never review but this one deserves it. Finally, a coffee shop that knows how to make a real cortado! Perfectly crafted, super rich, perfect amount of cream served in a cute little 4 oz to go cup with a lid! Just perfect. Cutest neighborhood ever! Adorable Baristas! 5 Star. ”
“ Staple and consistent coffee spot in our community! My overnight oats were fantastic! I never order overnight oats so it was an out of the ordinary treat. We got all the other things as well: avocado toast, some eggs, a breakfast burrito! I’m basic with my black coffee but enjoying the simplicity and richness of a classic black coffee is something I’ve come to terms with! ”
“ My husband and I visited this coffee shop one day to try them out, and as far as our visit goes, they definitely live up the good things we’ve heard about them. The coffees were very good, you can tell they use high quality ingredients and not the bad tasting Torani syrups that so many shops use. A lot of times ordering a specialty flavored latte will taste like warmed up cereal milk! Not so with this place. My companion and I were very impressed with both of the lattes we tried, and would definitely consider revisiting in the future if we are in the area. We also ordered the burritos, and was very satisfied with the taste, however the portion sizes were a little small for the price. Apart from this, we considered this a 10/10, would eat again experience. The service was friendly, food and coffee good, they have a TON of seating, and the atmosphere was very cool and good for studying or socializing. Would recommend! ”
“ Rating: - “A hidden gem cafe in St. Louis, going above and beyond for their patrons” Service The service at Goshen Coffee Roasters was exceptional, thanks to the lovely baristas, Violet and Mary (or Molly—apologies for forgetting!). I have very specific coffee preferences, and they went out of their way to make sure my requests were met without making me feel like a bother. My coffee needs to be piping hot, and they warmed the mug just for me. It’s the little things that elevate the experience, and these baristas absolutely nailed it. Their friendly, attentive service truly brightened my morning. Decor Goshen Coffee Roasters is a visual delight with a charming location in St. Louis. There’s a cozy outdoor seating area at the front, a spacious patio in the back, and an upstairs space that offers plenty of room for groups of any size. The cafe’s aesthetic is modern and fresh, with vibrant neon signs, St. Louis-themed wall art, and beautiful exposed brick walls. Whether you’re popping in for a quick coffee or spending a few hours working, the decor makes you feel right at home. Food I ordered an almond-milk latte, and despite the challenge of making latte art with almond milk, Violet crafted a beautiful leaf design. The latte itself was smooth, delicious, and exactly what I needed to kickstart the day. We also tried the coffee cake, which my girlfriend loved, though I found it a touch dry—perfect for dipping into my coffee. Overall, the drinks and treats were delightful, solidifying Goshen Coffee Roasters as my top cafe in Soulard and easily in my top three in all of St. Louis. In Retrospect Reflecting on my visit, Goshen Coffee Roasters offers a fantastic coffee experience. From the excellent service to the inviting decor and tasty offerings, this cafe has it all. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s a must-visit spot in St. Louis that goes above and beyond to make every customer feel valued. Final Verdict: - “Great” Catchy One-Liner: “Goshen Coffee Roasters: Where exceptional service and delicious lattes meet stylish decor in the heart of St. Louis. ”
“ My brother, sister-in-law, and I like to try the different coffee shops around St. Louis (been to 52 so far). We visited Goshen last Friday and have added this to our list of favorites. Our drinks: Fall Spice Latte, Pecan Pie Latte, and Peppermint Mocha Latte - all delicious! Our food: Goshen Burrito, Bright Eyed Burrito, Lemon Blueberry Scone, and Blueberry Muffin - also delicious and loved that the burritos came with sour cream, salsa, and hot sauce. I preferred the muffin to the scone - thought it was moister than the scone. The service was top notch (sorry I can't remember our barista's name) but she was great - super friendly and informative. I shared that I have an appreciation for latte art and she didn't disappoint. The atmosphere was also very nice - well decorated and spacious (indoor and outdoor seating). Will definitely return! ”
“ The breakfast burrito was amazing but on the pricey side I'd say, so I ding one for service. The lemon blueberry scone and banana bread were great, coffee was good, I'd say 8.5/10 on the drip quality. Parking on the street if you get lucky! Some indoor seating, very friendly place! Hope to visit again. ”
“ Large coffee shop with lots of space! There are 4 areas: the main floor, a beautiful spacious upstairs lounge area, a wonderful outside garden patio area with lots of trees with even a small waterfall, and another covered outdoor patio off the second floor. Service is friendly, and the coffee is pretty darn good as well. ”
“ Absolutely delightful spot! Fresh coffee, a very nice and larger than expected selection of delicious baked goods and made to order items, a fun vibe inside and out, and staff that has you looking forward to a return visit soon. Street parking was convenient too. This place is a gem! ”
